Alan Boardman

Alan is an arts worker & visual artist. His practice is informed by an interest in theories of memory and in the materiality of the image as they relate to environmental mutability. Since 2005 he has investigated painting and photography as forms of image making akin to fossilization or mineralization, the accretion of memory into matter. His practice also incorporates critical writing.

He has exhibited nationally and internationally. His work is in the collections of Microsoft Ireland, The Bank of Ireland, The Hunt Museum, The Office of Public Works, Tralee Institute of Technology and Mason, Hayes and Curren Law Firm.
