Jack Lunt

Jack Lunt is English/French film artist living in County Waterford. His practice involves the creation of deeply researched essay films, combining archive and original cinematography that engage with the contemporary narratives surrounding power, progress and environment.

Creative collaborations are an important part of Jacks’ practice and he aims to create works that balance the theoretical with the poetic. His previous film, A Map in Search of A Territory, a cinematic palimpsest telling the story of a single hill, was supported by the Arts Council and screened at Docs Ireland film festival and FICI Madrid.
